It is our policy to give patients completed request forms for the necessary blood tests and request that they attend:

• Princess House, located in the Square, Shrewsbury town centre, to have their blood taken.

The receptionists at the surgery are able to make the appointment for you. This means the laboratory is able to process a fresh sample promptly and may give a more accurate result.

Appointments are available Monday to Friday before 11am and there is open access 1pm to 3.30pm.

The results of these tests are available 2-6pm.

Where necessary one of the district nurses will take the blood-test in the patient's home.
