Appointment Times

The surgery is open: Monday to Friday 8am-6.00pm.

To book an appointment with either the doctor or nurse, please phone Shrewsbury 248244 or call into the surgery. Urgent problems will be dealt with the same day.

Please note: If you are unable to keep your appointment please let us know in good time so that it may be offered to someone else.

EMERGENCIES TAKE PRIORITY AT ALL TIMES.

You can request an appointment with a particular doctor although you may be seen sooner if you are willing to accept the first appointment available. Please ask the reception staff for times of individual surgeries which may vary during the week, and from year to year.

Urgent cases can be fitted in on the same day, especially if you telephone as early as possible, but it should be noted that it may not be possible to fit you in with the doctor of your choice.

From time to time we undertake post-graduate training of doctors (see Training). When booking an appointment we may ask you if you would mind seeing a junior doctor. We would be most grateful if you would assist us in their training. A GP is always at hand to see you as well if necessary.

Booking an appointment on-line

Unfortunately we are unable to offer this service for the foreseeable future. The software in question (Emis Access) is not capable yet of ensuring that you are given the correct type of appointment in certain circumstances.
